Europen Data Protection Board ("EDPB"), General Data Protection Regulation'a (GDPR) aykırı veri işleme eyleminde bulunulduğu gerekçesiyle ilk kez bir kamu kuruluşuna idari para cezası verdi. Belediyenin veri transfer ettiği 3. kişilerle kişisel veri işleme işlemeye ilişkin sözleşme yapmaması, dürüstlük ve gizlilik ilkelerinin ihlal edilmesi gibi gerekçelerle Belediye'ye 40.000 Polonya Zlotisi (05.11.2019 kuru ile yaklaşık 9.400-Euro) idari para cezası vermiştir.

The President of the Personal Data Protection Office imposed first administrative fine of PLN 40,000 (as of November 5th, approximately 9.400-Euro) on a public entity for failure to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation. The reason for imposing the fine was that the mayor of the city did not conclude a personal data processing agreement with the entities to which he transferred data.
